ROSEUS GODDESS

This piece was created by professional longarm quilter, artist, designer and teacher

Nic Bridges

of south coast, New South Wales

Nic says: "My piece is simply called Roseus Goddess and is a celebration of the beauty of the female form. It is taken from my original watercolour drawn from life, and has been interpreted in fabric by painting an overlay onto Lutradur, then drawing with stitch over a base of rose-coloured fabric. This technique allows the soft pink tone to glow through the overlay, the colour being revealed fully in the burnt-out cabbage rose wallpaper."
